SUPPORT THE ARTS IN MARIN

For nearly a decade, the Marin Cultural Association has championed creativity, cultural equity, and community connection across Marin County. As the nonprofit partner of the Marin County Department of Cultural Services, MCA invests in artists, arts education, and inclusive cultural programming that celebrates the creativity of all Marin residents.

This past year has been transformational. With new leadership and an expanded Board of Directors, we’ve strengthened our impact by fostering collaboration, supporting local talent, and ensuring the arts in Marin are truly by and for all.

With your support, MCA has:

  • Funded $100,000 in MCA Arts Grants to 30 artists and arts organizations—celebrating creativity in music, visual arts, dance, theatre, public art, and cultural traditions.

  • Expanded access to the arts for more than 4,000 students through the Arts Now Marin Equity Coalition—a partnership with the Marin Community Foundation, Marin County Office of Education, and Youth in Arts—and through artist residencies in Title I schools.

  • Showcased the talents of Marin’s artists and performers as a proud sponsor of the Marin County Fair, curating 40 performances featuring 800 community performers and launching the MCA Arts Studio, an interactive space that welcomed 5,500 families for hands-on artmaking and live artist demonstrations.

  • Engaged over 200 regional artists through exhibitions at the Marin Center and Civic Center, including Visions of Hope: Arts in Corrections, Maakon Yomi: Our Homelands of the Coast Miwok, I Will Not Be Forgotten: The Dignity in Homelessness, Street Scenes, and ADA 35: Making Waves.

  • Inspired 600 students through the Poetry Out Loud competition and welcomed 2,000 visitors to docent-led Frank Lloyd Wright tours celebrating Marin’s architectural heritage.

In the year ahead, MCA will continue to champion cultural equity, uplift local artists, and expand arts education for every child in Marin. Your gift directly supports artists and arts programming, ensuring every dollar strengthens Marin’s creative community.

Please support the arts in Marin County today.
