DrawBridge provides a dedicated space for creative freedom and self-discovery for children navigating housing instability, ensuring that every young person in Marin has the tools to express their own voice through the arts. DrawBridge's work proves that creative expression is a fundamental human need, demonstrating that art serves as a vital bridge for social connection and emotional resilience across Marin County by bringing high-quality art programs directly into shelters and affordable housing communities.

This April, DrawBridge is bringing two programs to communities across the county as part of its Youth Art Series:

Gemstone Mosaics & Community Storytelling. A traveling Gemstone Mosaics Craft visits three Marin libraries throughout the month: Fairfax Library on April 7, Point Reyes Library on April 14, and Corte Madera Library on April 21, all from 3:30 to 4:30 PM.

Separately, DrawBridge is launching a Neighborhood Storytelling Collage at Albert Boro Community Center in San Rafael, an intergenerational project where children and parents map out their dreams for their community together. April date TBD.

All events are free. Updates and details can be found at drawbridge.org and on the Marin County Free Library Events Calendar.
