MCA AT THE MARIN COUNTY FAIR
The Marin Cultural Association partners with the Marin County Fair to celebrate creativity, community, and cultural connection across Marin County. Through performances, poetry, and hands-on artmaking, MCA brings the arts to the Fair as a joyful, inclusive experience—one where creativity is visible, accessible, and shared by all.
MCA Community Stage
Last year, MCA curated 40+ performances across the Community Stage and Showcase Theatre, featuring 800+ community performers reflecting the extraordinary diversity of Marin’s artistic talent. From ballet and folklórico to poetry, spoken word, and community bands, the MCA Community Stage highlights community voices and gives Fairgoers something new to discover each day.
The MCA Arts Studio
The MCA Arts Studio is an interactive, all-ages creative space that welcomes 5,500+ families each year. Featuring community mural making, artist demonstrations, and collaborative art activities led by local artists and organizations, the Studio serves as a vibrant hub for hands-on creativity and shared expression throughout the Fair.
Perform on the MCA Community Stage
Are you a performer or community arts organization interested in sharing your creativity at the Fair? MCA welcomes performers of all ages, disciplines, and backgrounds and encourages applications that reflect the diversity and creativity of Marin County.
Applications for the 2026 MCA Community Stage will open Friday, January 9, 2026.
